After a long time ...

I hadn’t worked on my pond for 2 years...

It was hard to find the motivation when it was raining, too warm, or when I didn’t have the budget, but I guess it was mainly procrastination.
But last Monday, as it was a Bank Holiday in France, my wife and I decided to work on it instead of going for a walk at Fontainebleau with my kids. I was exhausted from the Taekwondo sessions of the previous week.

We cleaned up some stones we already had and bought some aquatic plants to put in the laguna.
I also added a fish that was living in my aquaponic pond in the greenhouse. Since it was alone and made me sad, I decided to add 3 friends from the aquaponic pond and bought 5 new small fishes.
The 2 frogs living in the pond were happy and often followed the group of fishes.

Next week, we’re planning to buy a water lily to fill some of the emptiness.
We have some ideas about the flowers we’d like to put in the bins, but that will have to wait for another month as it’s quite expensive.
Next month, we’re planning to work on the waterfall and/or the Japanese bridge over the stream.
